Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.

Praise be to the Lord, for he showed me the wonder of his love. Love the Lord, all his faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are true to him. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Jesus is our mentor and our coach. There is some sound advice here in Hebrews 12. The important thing is reaching the finishing line, persevering against all odds to complete the course.
